Fedor Emelianenko says the date of his next fight “Will be known in the near future”

“I don’t know for sure, but I may participate in the upcoming National Sambo Tournament in St. Petersburg. That’s still under question. This event will take place at the end of February. As for my next fight, Vadim will have some negotiations, and I think that in a very near future we’ll know the date of my next fight.”

MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko seemed in a very positive mood, speaking about his future plans in an interview to the Russia 2 TV Channel. The SAMBO Tournament Emelianenko is talking about will take place on February 25th in St. Petersburg, just 13 days after Fedor’s defeat against Antonio Silva and the elimination from the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix.
