Fabricio Werdum (20-5-1 MMA, 8-2 UFC) is getting well paid these days by the UFC. According to the UFC heavyweight champion, he’s making bank with the UFC. Seven figures to be exact. There have been no specific details regarding the contract released to the public.

He posted the following on his Instagram account:

“”I just signed a new 7 figure deal with the UFC, thank you to Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta for changing my life,” he wrote. “And thank you to my good friend and manager, Ali Abdelaziz, for changing my life.”

Werdum is set to fight Cain Velasquez at UFC 196. Werdum beat Velasquez to win the heavyweight title at UFC 188 after a dominant performance. Now, they’re going to do it again.
