Eryk Anders Pressures Markus Perez In Unanimous Decision Win

Eryk Anders put the screws to Markus Perez after the opening frame.

Right away, Perez had a high kick that was blocked. Anders walked his opponent down and had him against the fence. They quickly returned to the center of the Octagon. A right hand landed for Anders. Perez scored a takedown on Anders. Perez went for a D’Arce choke. He let go of it.

Anders landed a knee upstairs. Perez missed a spinning backfist. Another knee was there for Anders. He landed a body shot. Perez ran from Anders. Anders was a bit too aggressive and got taken down near the end of the round.

A right hand connected for Anders in the second stanza. Perez got hit with another knee upstairs. A leg kick was there for Perez. An uppercut found the mark for Anders. He dropped Perez with a straight punch. Anders rocked his opponent with a knee and a left hand. Anders swung for the fences and mostly found air. With Perez down, Anders landed a couple of hard shots.

With Perez down early in the third round, Anders landed a knee to the body. Perez got up, but he looked tired. Anders came on strong with knees to the body. He took his opponent down. The final horn ended with Anders in top control.

All three judges scored the fight for Anders.

Final Result: Eryk Anders def. Markus Perez via unanimous decision (30-26, 30-25, 29-28)
