Meek had other plans.

Meek and Mein went to the kicks immediately. Mein grabbed a hold of a leg and took his opponent down. Meek got up quickly. He landed two hard leg kicks, but Mein took him down and moved to the north-south position. “Valhalla” scrambled out and landed some strikes. He kneed “Young Gun” in the body. Mein landed an overhand right. Mein ducked under a hook and completed another takedown. During the scramble, Meek looked to be in pain and was breathing heavily. He got up and pushed his opponent against the fence. When the round concluded, Meek was holding his ribs in pain.
