A potentially hard-hitting middleweight bout has reportedly been added to the first of UFC’s three cards in three days this December.

News came from Globo that The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) Nations winner and Twitter personality Elias Theodorou will take on dangerous Brazilian Thiago Santos at December 10’s UFC Fight Night 80 from The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, the exact same locale as the TUF 22 Finale the very next day.

Theodorou has won two straight bouts since winning the TUF contract over Sheldon Westcott in April 2014, decisioning Bruno Santos before stopping Roger Narvaez by at UFC 185 March.

‘The Spartan’ will face arguably his toughest test in Santos, who will come in with the momentum of his electric head kick stoppage of Steve Bosse at June’s UFC Fight Night 69 from Orlando, Florida. The TUF Brazil 2 vet has won three of his last four UFC bouts by KO, with his only in that span a UFC 175 decision to Uriah Hall.

The bout has not been made official, but if and when it is confirmed, it will join this week’s previously announced Omari Akhmedov vs. Lyman Good and Kevin Casey vs. Antonio Carlos Junior bouts.
