Rising South Korean featherweight Doo Ho Choi came in with an illustrious record full of exhilarating knockouts, and he added to it when he met veteran Thiago Tavares on the main card of tonight’s (July 8, 2016) The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 23 Finale from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Faced with the toughest challenge of his young UFC career, “The Korean Superboy” delivered after some early adversity from two Tavares takedowns, where it appeared the more experienced Brazilian could potentially control the thunderous knockout power of Choi by grounding him.

But that didn’t last long, as Choi got back to his feet to immediately nail Tavares with a pinpoint straight right hand and a follow-up shot, earning the stoppage from referee Herb Dean.
