Donald Cerrone Teases Date For Conor McGregor Fight
Donald Cerrone teases date for a potential fight against Conor McGregor. This has been a fight that has been widely talked about and believed to be next for both fighters.
Earlier this month, the former lightweight title contender teased the possible dates in a recent photo shared on his official Instagram account. He captioned it with, “April 13 or July 6th.”
It appears that the date has been finalized as Cerrone shared this photo with the date July 6th listed, which you can see here:
The UFC 239 pay-per-view event takes place on July 6th as part of International Fight Week. As of this writing, there’s no date or location for this show but it’s likely to take place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
McGregor is slated to be cleared to fight again in early April after his Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) suspension for his involvement in the UFC 229 brawl is up.
“The Notorious” suffered his second-ever loss under the UFC banner this past October. Khabib Nurmagomedov submitted him at UFC 229, which marked his first official title defense as UFC lightweight champion.
