UFC Fight Night 68 is set to go down on June 6, live on Fox Sports 1 from New Orleans, LA. The card is being headlined by Louisiana native and former title challenger Daniel Cormier taking on the surging Ryan Bader in a light heavyweight battle.

Today (March 3, 2015), the UFC announced two more bouts that are set for this card. First off, New Orleans native Derrick Lewis will return to action and meet Shawn Jordan in a heavyweight bout.

Most recently, Lewis scored a brutal second-round TKO win over Ruon Potts at last weekend’s (February 28, 2015) UFC 184, now sitting at 3-1 in his UFC career. He started off his Octagon run scoring back-to-back TKO wins over Jack May and Guto Innocente, before being smashed in 41 seconds by Matt Mitrione at UFC Fight Night 50 last September. Lewis will look to establish another winning streak come June.

Jordan, a former collegiate football player, is only 5-3 in the UFC, but is currently riding a two-fight win streak. After suffering back-to-back knockout losses to Gabriel Gonzaga at UFC 166 and Matt Mitrione at The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) China Finale, Jordan bounced back and most recently picked up two-straight T/KO wins of his own over Jack May and Jared Cannonier.

Also taking place on this card, another Louisiana native in Alan Jouban will meet longtime veteran Brian Ebersole.

Jouban is 2-1 in the UFC, scoring a knockout win over Seth Baczynski in his debut last August. He then dropped a decision to Warlley Alves at UFC Fight Night 56 last November. Most recently, Jouban scored an impressive first-round knockout over Richard Walsh at UFC 184.

After his most recent win, Jouban asked to be on this card in his home state, and he got his wish, but standing in front of him will be an ultra-experienced fighter in Ebersole. The 34 –year-old was riding a two-fight losing skid, but most recently scored a split decision win over John Howard last September at UFC 178.

Both of these additions of been confirmed by The Times-Picayune.
