UFC 187 went down last night (Saturday May 23rd, 2015) in Las Vegas, Nevada. The MGM Grand Garden Arena played host to the highly anticipated PPV (pay-per-view) main card, which delivered massively on all fronts. At the head of the card was the light-heavyweight title fight between top contenders Daniel Cormier and Anthony Johnson.

In his defense it wasn’t an easy win for the new champion, but few expected him to be as controlling as that.

So it’s the start of a new era at 205 pounds in the UFC, although ‘DC’ was quick to call out former champion and long-time rival Jon Jones in the aftermath of UFC 187.
