Dana White Pays Tribute To Ronda Rousey’s ‘No. 1 PPV’
UFC 190 went down this past August 1st in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, and was all about Ronda Rousey. The undisputed UFC women’s bantamweight champion put the screws to Bethe Correia in just 34 seconds, setting the internet ablaze with talk of GOAT status and her unbelievable dominance. ‘Rowdy’ made a big impression at the top of quite a plain card in terms of view-ability, and saved the card in just over half a minute.
UFC president Dana White, as ever, is heavy in praise for the promotion’s top female talent, as he sends out a tribute Tweet to Rousey, declaring UFC 190 the PPV (pay-per-view) card of the year.

Twitter chatter of a whole different kind was on hand from fierce rival Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino recently, as she first claimed she was offered the Dallas stadium fight against ‘Rowdy’, and then continued to accuse her of running when Dana White accused Justino and Tito Ortiz of lying.
So as we await a potential third squash match with Miesha Tate, or a superfight against Invicta FC boss and nemesis Cyborg, there’s plenty of time to appreciate Rousey’s influence through dominance in the UFC.
