Dan Henderson is fine playing second fiddle at UFC 157
While many MMA fans may be debating the decision to put the headliner of UFC 157 as the first women’s Bantamweight championship fight, the man who some feel has been slighted apparently couldn’t care less. Dan Henderson has never been the most outspoken of fighters, always prefering to let his thunderous fists do the talking instead of his mouth. That trend continues to this day, as he is totally fine with facing Lyoto Machida in the co-main event of UFC 157:
I am perfectly fine as the co-main. I will get to relax and enjoy the women go at it. RT (cont) tl.gd/ke34ao

The discussion has been fired up over this issue lately, but if Henderson doesn’t even care, should we? The fact is that Ronda Rousey may draw more pay-per-view buys than an event headlined by Hendo and Machida. Sounds weird, I know, but it is the cold hard truth. Beautiful women likeRonda Rousey and Gina Carano tend to sell well, and at least if Rousey’s fight is quick and brutal as usual, we will be treated to a war of two great combatants in the co-main. Dan Henderson does not care about the booking, perhaps we shouldn’t anymore as well.
