Two high-profile bouts have been added to June 6’s UFC Fight Night 68 from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.

In the first, aging former Pride champion Dan Henderson will take on Tim Boetsch in a middleweight contest.

MMA legend “Hendo” has seen better days in his illustrious career, losing five out of his past six bouts. He was most recently seen losing a first round TKO to Gegard Mousasi at January’s UFC on FOX 14, a bout where Henderson’s vision was allegedly saved by “The Dreamcatcher” holding back on him when he was badly hurt.

Boetsch will come in off a submission loss to the surging Thales Leites at UFC 183’s “Fight of the Night” on January 31. “The Barbarian” landed a ton of big shots on his opponent, but ultimately succumbed to an arm triangle from the talented Brazilian Jiu-jitsu black belt. Prior to that, Boetsch scored a “Performance of the Night”-winning knockout in a comeback win over Brad Tavares at UFC Fight Night 47.

The second bout will be a heavyweight clash between the streaking Matt Mitrione and Ben Rothwell.

“Meathead,” who had been campaigning hard for a bout with No. 5-ranked Andrei Arlovski, has won three straight fights with first-round knockouts, his latest a “Performance of the Night”-earning win over Gabriel Gonzaga at UFC on FOX 13.

Mitrione will most likely catapult himself into the Top 10 with a win over Rothwell, who most recently knocked out Alistair Overeem at UFC Fight Night 50 last September.

Joe Proctor vs. Justin Edwards was also added to the card.

UFC Fight Night 68 will feature the hometown return of former light heavyweight title contender Daniel Cormier, who will take on surging No. 5-ranked Ryan Bader in the main event.
