CSAC releases Fighter Salaries and Suspensions for UFC on Fuel TV 4

The California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) has released the full list of fighter salaries and medical suspensions for UFC on Fuel TV 4.  The total disclosed payroll for the event was $446,000. A total of 7 fighters have been suspended due to medical reasons including Mark Munoz who lost via TKO in the Main Event to Chris Weidman.

These figures are base salaries as reported to the CSAC and do not include deductions for items such as insurance, licenses and taxes. These amounts do not reflect money paid by sponsors, which are often the primary portion of a fighter’s income. They also do not include any discretionary bonuses such as “Knockout of the Night” or “Fight of the Night” (as we reported here) or pay-per-view bonuses that some top-level fighters receive.

The list of complete medical suspensions is as follows:

Mark Munoz has been suspended 45 days with 30 days of no contact for TKO loss. He is suspended 180 days or until cleared by physician for left scalp and right eyebrow laceration and possible fractured mandible.
James Te Huna has been suspended 180 days or until cleared by physician for possible left elbow fracture and left foot fracture, and suspended indefinitely pending an MRI submitted on or before September 11.
Joey Beltran has been suspended 60 days or until cleared by a physician for two right orbital lacerations and an upper right side lip laceration.
Aaron Simpson has been suspended 60 days or until cleared by a physician for a a right eye laceration.
-Kenny Robertson has been suspended 60 days or until cleared by a physician for a right scalp laceration.
-Josh Ferguson has been suspended 60 days or until cleared by a physician for right orbital laceration.
-Andrew Craig has been suspended 60 days or until cleared by a physician for a left eyebrow laceration.
