Just four months after her Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) debut, Cris Cyborg (17-1) was back inside the Octagon at UFC Fight Night 95. She put her 11-year undefeated streak at stake when she fought Lina Lansberg (6-2).

Believe it or not, this one made it past the first round.

Cyborg moved forward and Lansberg held on in the clinch. Cyborg proved to be stronger in that position and she landed some knees to the body. The two remained in the clinch for over a minute. They separated briefly and Cyborg threw a combination before the position resumed. Referee Mario Yamasaki broke the two up and Lansberg once again held onto Cyborg and was outmuscled in the clinch. Cyborg slammed her opponent to the canvas and rained down punches. Cyborg went on an assault with punches and a knee to the body. “Elbow Princess” survived the round.

Lansberg was all smiles before the bout began, but looked concerned going into the second round. Cyborg moved forward and threw a barrage of punches and landed kicks to the body. They returned to the clinch and Cyborg was the one who was smiling. She took Lansberg down and was immediately in side control. Lansberg was bloodied from the nose down and the vicious hammerfists of Cyborg mercifully ended the fight.
