Conor McGregor Seeking “Another Victim” Before Title Shot
UFC featherweight Conor McGregor may be getting fast tracked to a title fight, but he wants at least one more scrap before that…..
In some rather surprising news, UFC featherweight Conor McGregor doesn’t want to fight for the title in his next outing. Although “The Notorious” will be present at UFC 179 to watch Jose Aldo vs Chad Mendes, he insists that the promotion are actively looking to book him another fight…..somewhat contradictory to recent headlines.
Check out what the feisty featherweight posted to his Twitter account today:
Myself, Uncle Frank and the rest of La Familia are in the process of selecting another victim to eliminate in the meantime.

Because Aldo’s body is weak and Mendes is 2foot nothing, they will not be ready to challenge me for the throne until mid next year.

So who could be next for McGregor? Well, the winner of Frankie Edgar vs Cub Swanson at UFC Fight Night 57 seems a logical option, or perhaps the winner of Ricardo Lamas vs Denis Bermudez at UFC 180? Whatever the case, McGregor’s comments are very much against the grain of public opinion recently.
UFC president Dana White recently said that a fight with Aldo would make sense, and his ongoing beef with Chad Mendes would make “Money’s” first title defense a no-brainer against “The Notorious”. Obviously more than confident in his own abilities, it looks like McGregor will indeed roll the dice again….
