Conor McGregor has been in the news for arrests and suspensions quite a bit lately. But he’s also made headlines for his rumored UFC return and late-night callout of featherweight Max Holloway.

“Blessed” put McGregor in his place by claiming McGregor was trying to relive his glory days in Boston after pumping up the Bruins hockey team last night. McGregor looked back on his 2013 decision over a then 21-year-old ‘Blessed,’ which Holloway found funny.

He responded by saying the current version of him have finished that version of himself – and wouldn’t have torn his ACL in the process. McGregor responded today with an incendiary tweet:

“I took my acl and shoved it up your arse that night kid. You don’t still have it by any chance? I’m lookin for it years. Happy paddy’s day”

Holloy was quick to respond himself, noting that it was good to have the ‘old’ McGregor back. If the original champ champ wanted his ACL ‘back,’ Holloway claimed, he could get it in July:

This feud is picking up steam and has legs to run with due to the backstory between the two. It would be a huge match based on each man’s position in the UFC as well.

McGregor is tentatively planning to return during International Fight Week this July. His potential opponent remains unknown.
