Conor McGregor Isn’t Happy With Jose Aldo and Ricardo Lamas’ Antics

“The Notorious” Conor McGregor could quite possibly be the hottest name in the UFC and is without a doubt the most talked about name in the featherweight division. The brash and outspoken Irishman is never afraid to say what’s on his mind, and that has seemed to rub some of his fellow featherweights the wrong way.

Lately, multiple featherweights, who are not usually known for their talking, have fired back at McGregor. A few days before “The Notorious” one’s demolition of Dennis Siver last night at UFC Fight Night 59, No. 3-ranked Ricardo “The Bully” Lamas made a video called “The Delirious Conrad McGillicutty,” making fun of McGregor. Speaking on the topic at the post-fight press conference, it seems as if the Irish Bad Boy is not pleased with Lamas’ antics:

“You’ve got pussies making these videos. Ricardo Lamas’ video, holy jeezus. Think about the amount of effort he had to do to make that. Stupid video,” McGregor said following the event in Boston. People think this is all fun and games, but I’m not playing here.”

“I swear, I can’t even get over that video. It’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen in my life. I saw Ricardo Lamas and gave him the finger as well,” he said. “I’ve seen him in the hotel with a big box of pizza, and on top of the 22-inch pizza was a big can of Pepsi, or coke. He’s a big fat mess, making videos. Get in the gym and perform impressively. Climb up that ladder. You fought like a pussy when you fought Jose. He’s a pussy.”

Lamas wasn’t the only one to take a shot at McGregor, however, and the other just so happens to be McGregor’s next opponent, reigning featherweight king Jose Aldo. Aldo was seen prior to last night’s event and during the event with a poster that portrayed “The Notorious” one as a joker, with a caption that read “Go, Joker, Go!” McGregor elaborated on Aldo’s antics as well excited that he could finally get his hands on the champion next time out:

“And I’m looking into the crowd and I see Jose in the crowd, with my face on a joker poster or something. I don’t know what that was all about. They all think it’s fun and games, and I’m not playing. The only thing that’s stopping me from smacking Jose and whooping him in the crowd was the money.”

“Now it’s time. Now we have a location, and Jose will be the next one to learn that it’s not all talk, it’s not all jokes. Now we only have one man left.”

As for the location McGregor mentioned, it looks as if the bout will take place in Las Vegas. UFC president Dana White also confirmed that the promotion is targeting May for the blockbuster showdown.
