Conor McGregor has a unique reaction to former UFC bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw recently failing a drug test.

There is some history between these two former champions. The Ultimate Fighter: Team McGregor vs. Team Faber or TUF 22 aired back in 2015 with McGregor and Urijah Faber serving as coaches.

During this time, Dillashaw was still a part of Team Alpha Male. This is where McGregor called Dillashaw a “snake in the grass.” The term became popular once the bad blood between Dillashaw and Team Alpha Male (Faber and Cody Garbrandt) went public after Dillashaw departed from the gym. Since then, Dillashaw started using snakes as part of his branding and marketing.

On Wednesday, it was revealed that Dillashaw had been suspended for one year and fined $10,000 by the New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC) for failing a USADA drug test. The failed drug test came from his fight with Henry Cejudo.

Early Thursday morning, the former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion broke his silence about the failed drug test. He took to his official Twitter account where he wrote, “I called that little snake way back. I’m the new St. Patrick.”
