Conor McGregor warned he could get ‘Flatlined’ in MEGA $250M boxing fight with Logan Paul
UFC megastar, Conor McGregor has been warned by ex-Octagon contender, Brendan Schaub that he could conceivably suffer the biggest “embarrassment” of his combat sports career in a mooted boxing match with Logan Paul — in the form of a “flatline” knockout loss in Mumbai.
In recent weeks, McGregor has been vocal about a reported offer from a wealthy Indian family willing to sanction a staggering $250,000,000 boxing match between himself and outspoken YouTuber and WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) star, Paul in an exhibition setting in Mumbai — as soon as later this year.
And himself claiming he would be all ears to a matchup against the Ohio native, McGregor further explained that once he dealt with a matchup against the elder of the polarizing Paul siblings, he would then make good on his long-rumored return to the UFC.
Conor McGregor warned Logan Paul could “embarrass” him in potential boxing clash
However, sharing his thoughts on the potential pairing — which fellow analyst, Chael Sonnen claimed was bogus, Schaub has warned that while a massive payday would entice both the ring, there is a world where Conor McGregor is wholly “flatlined” by the younger Paul.
“Here’s the thing, let’s say if Conor (McGregor) goes in there and let’s say he gets embarrassed,” Brendan Schaub said. “Flatlined, second round, overhand right. Logan Paul, way bigger dude, fast, powerful, way younger, not so many miles on his body, flatlines Conor McGregor. It could happen. Flatlines him. Does UFC bring Conor back after that? I don’t think so.”
“My only concern, too, is if Conor doesn’t take this serious, like kind of moseys in, he’s partying, you know, I think he could get f*cked up,” Schaub explained. “I think if he’s not on it, he could get f*cked up. That’s what’s interesting to me. Now, if it’s prime Conor, like the one that beat Diego Brandao or beat Eddie Alvarez or that beat Nate Diaz, shows up for that, Logan might get pieced up. Should. But I don’t know if that version might be gone.”
