Video: Colby Covington Interrupts Dana White’s Gambling Session To Confront Him

Colby Covington

Colby Covington confronts UFC President Dana White during a blackjack game in order to get some answers. It’s no secret that the former UFC interim welterweight champion isn’t happy with the Las Vegas-based promotion over getting snubbed for a title shot.

Covington was supposed to get the next crack at UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley. However, that all changed when Woodley was scheduled to fight Kamuru Usman in the co-headliner of the UFC 235 pay-per-view event.

Covington underwent surgery to correct a nasal issue, which obviously would lead to some recovery time as a result. However, at the time, the UFC made it known that they need title fights due to a trend of having two title fights for most pay-per-view events. Thus, UFC decided it would strip Covington of the interim belt after he declined a fight at UFC 228.
