Former WWE star and now UFC fighter CM Punk, whose real name is Phil Brooks, has heard the talk about his UFC status and started to laugh at the jokes. He joined the UFC on Dec. 6, 2014, but has yet to make his pro-MMA debut. At the time of his signing, it was expected that he would fight in 2015, but that never happened. Now, we’re in 2016, and everyone is wondering when he’ll fight. next.
Punk is expected to fight sometime in 2016 against an unknown opponent. Most think that he’ll fight at UFC 200 for various reasons. For one, it will be the UFC’s biggest show of 2016. Also, the UFC believes that Punk will be a big draw for them on PPV and thus would pop a bigger buy rate for them with all of the WWE fans tuning in to see him either get his butt kicked or somehow win his first MMA bout in the world’s largest MMA promotion.
Punk commented on making his UFC debut at UFC 200, which is not confirmed and those who want him to fight sooner than later.

@CMPunk @UFCFightPass well business just picked up…
