The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 20 Finale will go down December 12, 2014 at The Hard Rock Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. This TUF Finale may be more anticipated than any finale prior due to the fact that the champion of a new division will be crowned in the main event, that division being the Women’s strawweight.

Today (Tues., September 30, 2014) UFC officials announced that the card also has its co-main event set. No.14-ranked featherweight Jeremy Stephens will take on Brazilian Charles Oliveira. This should be an exciting fight as both men are looking to rebound from some unfortunate mishaps.

Oliveira was supposed to fight earlier this month at UFC Fight Night 50 against Nik Lentz. However, he ran into a few problems that stopped this from happening. First, on the day of weigh-ins “do Bronx” came in overweight. Then, on the day of the fight he fell ill with what his camp said was a viral infection and was not medically cleared to fight.

The last time we saw Jeremy Stephens, he was competing in the biggest fight of his life which turned out to be a five-round clash against No.2-ranked Cub Swanson in the main event of UFC Fight Night 44 last June. Although a good fight, Stephens didn’t get the nod, losing by decision. A win over Swanson would have put “Lil Heathen” right at the top of the featherweight rankings. It also snapped his previous three fight win streak.
