Breaking: Myles Jury Injured, Out Of Fight Night 44 Bout With Abel Trujillo

News is currently breaking that surging UFC lightweight Myles Jury is injured and out of his Fight Night 44 booking against Abel Tujillo. ‘Fury’ recently improved to a spotless 14-0 as he breezed past Diego Sanchez at UFC 171, winning a unanimous decision against a very tough veteran in ‘The Nightmare’. We are yet to hear about which injury has cast Jury from the June 28 card, but it can’t be much worse than a poorly thumb, right?

Ariel Helwani confirmed the news via his Twitter account:

Holding notable wins over Michael Johnson, Ramsey Nijem, Mike Ricci and Sanchez, it appears that Jury has a bright future ahead of him. Let’s hope it’s not too serious of an injury that sees him removed from his duties against the ‘Killa’.

Trujillo last starched Jamie Varner in a classic brawl at UFC 169. According to FOX Spports, Francisco Trevino has stepped in to replace Jury on the San Antonio, Texas-based card.
