UFC Flyweight champion Brandon Moreno hilariously reacts to Kai Kara-France’s knockout over Cody Garbrandt at UFC 269.
The newly crowned UFC flyweight champ has kept his eyes closely on the division. He also keeps his money inside the division as well, as it seems that Moreno had some money on ‘No Love’ to win against Kara-France last night. Kara-France made pretty quick work of Garbrandt and spoiled his debut in the flyweight division.
The video is hilarious as I’m sure every sports gambler has been in that position before. Begging and pleading for your fighter to pull it off or just survive for the rest of the round. Moreno laughing while Kara-France is pushing for the finish is what makes the video even funnier.
Brandon Moreno looks to defend his title against Deiveson Figueiredo at UFC 270 in Jan.
Moreno dethroned Figueiredo in their second fight between the two back at UFC 263 in June of 2021. ‘The Assassin Baby’ submitted Figueiredo with a rear naked choke in the third round of the fight to win the title. The two will clash for the third time at UFC 270, to settle their trilogy. Although if Figueiredo wins the next fight, the series would still be tied as each fighter would have one win, one loss, and one draw against each other.
Moreno recently took home three awards from the ‘World MMA Awards’ that included ‘Fight of the Year’ for his fight with Figueiredo in December, ‘Breakthrough Fighter of the Year’ for his ability to become one of MMA’s brightest stars, and ‘Fighting Spirit Award’ for his ability to come back after being cut from the UFC in the past.
Moreno has become a fan favorite and a household name in the UFC. He is one of the better well rounded fighters in the entire promotion.
