UFC 205 Betting Odds Feature Close Call In Main Event

UFC 205 is here, and it goes down today (November 12th) from the Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. This event will be the first UFC event hosted in New York City and the first UFC event hosted in the State of New York since 1995. The main card airs on PPV at 10 p.m. ET and the prelims air on FOX Sports 1 at 8 p.m. ET and UFC Fight Pass at 7 p.m. ET.

The event will be headlined by a UFC Lightweight Title bout between current champion Eddie Alvarez and current UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor, which marks the second time in UFC history that champions in different divisions will fight for the same title.A UFC Welterweight Title bout between current champion Tyron Woodley and Stephen Thompson will be the co-main event. Rounding out the main card is Joanna Jedrzejczyk vs. Karolina Kowalkiewicz for the women’s Strawweight Title, Yoel Romero vs. Chris Weidman in a middleweight bout, Donald Cerrone vs. Kelvin Gastelum in a welterweight bout and Raquel Pennington vs. Miesha Tate in a women’s bantamweight bout.

According to oddsmakers, McGregor is a -120 favorite over Alvarez, who is a +100 underdog. Other odds for the main card include Woodley being a +166 underdog against Thompson, who is a -195 favorite.
