Dave Rickels
Dave Rickels is easily one of the best MMA fighters from Kansas and the most known from the state. “The Caveman” is most known for his time in Bellator, where he competed in 23 fights in the promotion.
Rickels fought in the promotion from 2011 to 2019 and made a name for himself with his grappling and caveman appearance. Since leaving the company in 2019, Rickels has been competing in BKFC.
Dave’s next fight isn’t scheduled, but all betting players from Kansas will place bets on him when he fights again.
Zak Cummings
Zak Cummings was one of the best MMA fighters from Kansas City, Missouri. He fought for almost 20 years in many of the major MMA promotions.
What Cummings is most known for was his respectable 10-year run in the UFC. During his time in the UFC light heavyweight division, Cummings beat everyone from Ben Alloway, Alexander Yakovlev, and Trevin Giles.
Zak saved his best performance for last as he TKO’d Ed Herman in his retirement bout. Ending his respectable career in front of his hometown crowd in Kansas City, Missouri.
Tyler Stinson
Tyler Stinson is a name that hardcore fight fans know and he’s one of the best MMA fighters from Kansas. The veteran of 41 professional fights has fought in numerous big MMA promotions around the world.
The Winfield native fought everywhere from Titan FC, WSOF, Bellator, and Strikeforce during his long career. Stinson actually retired from fighting in 2016 after winning a fight for the promotion C3 Fights.
Seven years later, Tyler made a comeback a won his returning fight by triangle choke.
Jason High
Another one of the best MMA fighters from Kansas is longtime veteran Jason High. Seasoned fight fans have been watching High fight in every major promotion for the last three decades.
Jason has fought everywhere from the UFC, Strikeforce, Bellator, DREAM, Affliction, Titan FC, and K-1 Dynamite. He holds victories over many known fighters from Andre Galvao, Mike Ricci, Hayato Sakurai, and Jordan Mein.
High also holds a TKO victory in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship in 2021 but hasn’t fought since.
Bobby Voelker

After Strikeforce was sold to the UFC, Voelker’s contract rolled over and he fought four fights in the organization. Once out of the UFC, Bobby has spent the majority of his late career fighting in Shamrock FC. Of Voelker’s 34 pro wins, he has knocked out 27 of his opponents.
