Before the UFC added women’s divisions, Alexis fought in Strikeforce, where she notably beat future women’s MMA GOAT Amanda Nunes. Once the UFC added the women’s bantamweight division in 2013, Davis was quickly signed by the company.

Davis would spend the next decade fighting for the company and fight everyone from Liz Caramouche, Kaitlin Chookagian, and Viviane Arjuo. She ended her MMA career with a decision win over Julia Stoliarenko in 2022.
