Ben Askren Debuts Rap Written Especially For Tyron Woodley
Ben Askren had a rap written especially and prepared for his friend Tyron Woodley at today’s UFC 235 media day.
Askren will make his promotional debut on Saturday night as he faces Robbie Lawler in a featured main-card bout while his close friend and training partner, welterweight champion Woodley, will defend his title against Kamaru Usman in the co-main event of the evening.
Both men teamed up earlier today for an open workout session. Then, the unexpected happened. “Funky” busted a rhyme. Watch it here (courtesy of MMAjunkie on Twitter):
Following #UFC235 open workouts, @BenAskren debuted a specially written rap song from @TWooodley. ??

I don’t think Askren will be quitting his day job anytime soon.
UFC 235 takes place March 2 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and UFC Fight Pass.
