Bellator 106 Fighter Salaries And Post Fight Presser

Bellator 106 went down last night and provided a thoroughly entertaining card, a card that produced two new Champion’s in the promotions lower weight classes. Eddie Alvarez edged Michael Chandler for the Lightweight in the main event (told ya so!) and Daniel Straus conquered Pat Curran for the promotion’s Featherweight title.

The payscale for the evening’s event has been made public, and Eddie Alvarez/Michael Chandler top the pile. At the other end of the scale is Darren Smith and Josh Smith who pocketed a tax-avoiding sum of $1500 a piece.

Michael Chandler: $95,000 (win bonus of $95,000)
Eddie Alvarez: $80,000 (win bonus of $80,000)

Another surprise on the list is the k paid to King Mo for his efforts, the former Strikeforce champ is likely to become a full time wrestler on a cheque like that. Joe Riggs takes home a cool $100k for his boring Fight Master finale efforts, while his opponent Mike Bronzoulis takes home a mere $5k.
