Bellator 138 Results: Kimbo Slice Rallies To Victory

Bellator 138 took place from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri on Friday night. Headlining the card are Kimbo Slice and Ken Shamrock, but there’s a whole bunch of great fights also taking place on the rest of main card.

It’s main event time, Kimbo Slice (4-2) vs. Ken Shamrock (28-15-2) is finally going to happen. Shamrock got an early trip takedown that led to him getting the back of Slice and locking in the rear-naked choke. However, Slice powered through it and got to his feet. He finished Shamrock off with a straight right hand to end the fight.

Our co-main event is a featherweight title fight between champion Patricio Pitbull and Daniel Weichel. The first four minutes of round one had little to no action. With less than ten seconds to go, Weichel blitzed Pitbull and hurt him badly. Pitbull was saved by the bell. Once the second round starts, Pitbull put him out with a straight right and retains the gold.

The next bout takes place in the heavyweight division between Bobby Lashley and Dan Charles. Lashley completely dominated the entire fight. From takedowns, to ground control, to strikes. Lashley put Charles out of his misery in the second round by referee stoppage due to strikes.

The next bout takes place in the featherweight division between Daniel Straus and Henry Corrales. Straus dominated the first round and almost finished Corrales multiple times with strikes. Corrales was a tough cookie, but Straus made that cookie crumble in the second round with a guillotine choke.

Opening the main card is a lightweight bout between Michael Chandler and Derek Campos.This was a one-sided fight, Chandler hurt him very early in the fight with a straight right. He would go on to get the back of Campos and lock in the rear-naked choke for the win.
