Jackson

It’s once again fight day here at LowKickMMA, and the talent on display tonight (Friday, June 24th, 2016) will come in the form of Bellator: Dynamite 2. Headlining the card are Quinton Jackson and Satoshi Ishii, but there’s a whole bunch of great fights also taking place on the rest of the main card.

Satoshi Ishii and Quinton Jackson met in a light heavyweight in the main event of Bellator: Dynamite 2. Not the best fight you will ever see, but it was solid. In round 1, Jackson presses him early. Jackson got up but was taken right back down. Ishii ended up in side control. Jackson got to his feet at the end of the round and landed some knees while in the clinch. In round 2, Jackson came out quick and landed some strikes. Ishii took him down again, though. Jackson got up, and they clinched throughout the round. Not too much action from either man. In round 3, Jackson was upset through the entire fight because Ishii would not engage with him. Ishii clinched and pressed him up against the fence. Jackson landed some knees to the body while in the clinch. Jackson got the split decision victory. Jackson thought that ring rust hurt him in this fight but vowed to come back better than ever.
