Bellator 68 Recap and Results: Daniel Straus edges Marlon Sandro

Tonight Bellator 68 took place from the Caesar’s Palace Hotel and Casino from Atlantic City, New Jersey. Featuring the finals of the Featherweight Tournament and the semifinals of the Bantamweight Tourney, it was an exciting night of fights from the East Coast. Daniel Straus won the Bantamweight Tournament with a decisive decision victory over submission whiz Marlon Sandro. Finding himself in excellent position throughout, it looked like Straus was never in any serious danger. Marcus Galvao shut down the upset bid of Travis Marx in the co-main event. A closely contested match, Galvao won the decision utilizing excellent kicks. Seth Petruzelli’s catchweight bout with Carmelo Marrero was cancelled at the last minute due to doctors finding fluid within his lungs.
