As the Jon Jones fight is postponed again, UFC boss Dana White says Jones has gone silent
For a long time, Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic have been considered the UFC’s ultimate fantasy matchup. Despite widespread speculation throughout 2022, the supposed meeting never occurred. According to Daniel Cormier, Miocic’s money demands were the primary cause of the fight’s postponement.
Over two years have passed since Miocic’s last bout. He was last seen at UFC 260, where he suffered a devastating knockout loss to Francis Ngannou in the second round and subsequently lost the UFC Heavyweight Championship.
Jon Jones finally returned to the Octagon this year, winning the heavyweight championship with a submission victory over Ciryl Gane in the first round. Jones has since placed the blame on Stipe Miocic for their unconfirmed fight.

Since his successful return at UFC 285, UFC President Dana White says Jon Jones has gone strangely silent as per WhereGamble.com.
According to reports, “Bones” has gone into apparent seclusion after asking White to notify him when the Miocic fight is officially confirmed. Miocic recently tweeted the video of White discussing Jones’ disappearance.
Jones’s unexpected absence from public view was questioned by Miocic, who looked to be calling out both White and Jones.
The heavyweight bout was supposed to be the main event at UFC 290, set to take place in July. Unfortunately, new information suggests the fight has been pushed again and won’t happen until sometime in the fall.
It has become common practice in recent years to postpone or even completely miss the most anticipated battles at 265 pounds. Many of Jones’s supporters wanted to see him return in 2021 or 2022 to challenge Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou. Also, a trilogy fight between “The Predator” and Miocic never materialized.
Jones vs. Miocic should hopefully take place later this year.
