Breaking – Arman Tsarukyan OUT of UFC 311 title fight with Islam Makhachev after suffering injury
Tomorrow’s UFC 311 headliner has taken a major hit — with event main event star, Arman Tsarukyan out of his title rematch with Islam Makhachev after suffering an injury setback ahead of the pairing.
According to reports tonight from Russian outlet, Red Corner MMA, Armenian challenger, Tsarukyan has been forced out of tomorrow night’s headliner at the Intuit Dome against would-be two-fight rival, Makhachev through injury — with current main card feature, Renato Moicano discussed as a potential replacement fighter.

Earning himself a title rematch with pound-for-pound number one, Makhachev back in April of last year on the main card of UFC 300 in an officially-billed championship eliminator against former champion and common-foe, Charles Oliveira, landing a close, debated split decision win over the Brazilian.
Earlier this evening, defending champion, Makhachev successfully made weight for his title rematch with the number one ranked, Tsarukyan — who has still yet to weigh in, with reports suggesting the American Top Team staple has suffered a back injury ahead of the matchup.
As for the surging Moicano, the Brazilian star is currently still scheduled to take on Kings MMA staple, Beneil Dariush in his return at UFC 311, having most recently racked up an impressive doctor’s stoppage TKO win over French contender, Benoit Saint Denis at UFC Paris last September.
