Anderson Silva says he may vacate Middleweight crown with focus shifting to GSP fight
In a video courtesy of MMAFighting.com, UFC Middleweight champion and perennial pound-for-pound king Anderson Silva weighs in on the future of his fighting career past this weekend’s UFC 153 bout with Stephan Bonnar. The champ says that it has been nice not having to cut weight while fighting at Light Heavyweight. He then goes on to discuss that he may be leaving the Middleweight division, but he in unsure. Silva states his focus on getting the fight that everyone wants right now, a superfight with Welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre. While speculation runs rampant, Silva has repeatedly stressed he is not too enamored with any of the fights that 185 has left to offer. Who will face Anderson Silva in his next bout?
