Amanda Lemos rides out forgettable decision win over Iasmin Lucindo – UFC 313 Highlights
Former strawweight title challenger, Amanda Lemos is back to winning ways following her recent main event loss, landing a one-sided, albeit forgettable unanimous decision win over compatriot, Iasmin Lucindo tonight on the main card of UFC 313 in Las Vegas.
Lemos, a former strawweight title challenger and current number five ranked divisional contender, has been sidelined since she dropped an armbar submission loss to another compatriot, Virna Jandiroba back in July of last year.
And previously competing for divisional gold against incumbent strawweight queen, Zhang Weili back in 2023, Brazilian contender, Lemos dropped a one-sided unanimous decision defeat.
As for Lucindo, the Fortaleza native saw her three-fight winning spree over Marina Rodriguez, Karolina Kowalkiewicz, Polyana Viana halted in tonight’s loss.
Comfortably taking home a unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) victory against Lucindo, Lemos managed to show off her grappling ability once more with some impressive takedowns and control time on top.
