Alexander Gustafsson Predicts A Submission Win Over ‘Rumble’
Former UFC light heavyweight title contender Alexander Gustafsson is on the hunt for another title shot heading into his pivotal main event against Anthony “Rumble” Johnson at tomorrow night’s (Sat., January 24, 2014) UFC on FOX 14 from the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.
Although there is an absolutely massive amount of pressure on “The Mauler’s” shoulders, the hometown favorite relishes the role and wants to make the bout a thoroughly exciting one.
Appearing in a recent UFC First Person segment, Gustafsson discussed his transition from pure boxing to being a well-rounded mixed martial artist with skills in not only boxing, but also Muay Thai, wrestling, and grappling.
He also touched on why the pressure of being in a main event in his home country makes him perform better and his enthusiasm to deliver for his home fans.
