AJ Styles vs Logan Paul WILL be good at WrestleMania 41

AJ Styles, Logan Paul

Between their interaction a few weeks ago and AJ Styles calling Logan Paul out on Raw tonight, it seems inevitable that the two are going to face off at WrestleMania.

There’s a lot of negativity in the air at the minute when it comes to Logan Paul in WWE. Some people think he’s already hit his ceiling, suggesting that he’s not good enough to warrant the position he’s in. We tend to disagree pretty strongly with that, but for argument’s sake, let’s say that’s right.

He looks set to go against AJ Styles at WrestleMania in Las Vegas. Firstly, AJ Styles can have a great match with just about anybody. Secondly, his best match at Mania to date was against Shane McMahon – another guy who everyone thought was going to give AJ a disappointing outing on the grandest stage of them all.

As we’ve come to learn in the Triple H era, there’s one thing we all need to learn to start doing: trust the process.

Give AJ Styles vs Logan Paul a chance

If Logan was going up against CM Punk or John Cena, we’d understand the frustration a bit more – but he isn’t. AJ Styles is heading towards the twilight of his career and we don’t think he’d sign up for a match like this if he wasn’t invested in what kind of story they could tell.

Is it going to be perfect? No. Is it going to be Match of the Night regardless of whether it’s on the Saturday or Sunday? It could well be. Styles can handle himself on the mic, Logan is as annoying as ever, and we like the idea of them telling the story of Paul trying to prove he’s a better high flyer than AJ ever was.
