UFC Rankings Updated: Dennis Bermudez & Bobby Green Crack Top Ten

The official UFC rankings have been updated following this weekends UFC on Fox 12 event.

UFC on Fox 12 took place on Saturday night inside the SAP Center in San Jose, California. The event featured a welterweight title eliminator in the main event as Robbie Lawler slugged it out with the “Immortal” Matt Brown.

With “Ruthless” already sitting in the No.1 spot in the division, theres no place else for him to go after beating Brown. All that remains is for him to rematch Johny Hendricks in the champs return.

The biggest mover on the rankings was Bobby Green who managed to outpoint Josh Thomson in the opening fight of the main card. “King” shot six places up the lightweight ladder to the No.7 spot. However, he still remains behind Thomson who dropped three places down to sixth.

How that works I don’t know.

Dennis Bermudez also shot up the rankings into the top 10 for his second round submission over Clay Guida. Bermudez tapped “The Carpenter” with a rear-naked choke to put him up to seventh in the division. Guida drops down to the No.12 spot.
