UFC on FOX 13: Junior Dos Santos vs. Stipe Miocic Full Fight Video Highlights
It turned out to be a bloody back-and-forth war when former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos met rising contender Stipe Miocic in the main event of tonight’s (Sat., December 13, 2014) UFC on FOX 13 from U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
Although it looked like Miocic was nearing title contender status in the early rounds, “Cigano” rebounded well in the middle rounds after nailing Miocic with a huge counter left hook.
The Ohio-born Miocic was a game competitor and proved that he undoubtedly deserves a spot near the top of the UFC heavyweight division, but dos Santos showed why he is truly elite with an impressive mix of strikes as he landed brutal body shots and maintained excellent takedown defense.
