As noted, UFC President Dana White announced on Twitter that the co-main event of UFC 192 between Johny Hendricks and Tyron Woodley is off due to Hendricks having issues making weight.

Kevin Iole confirmed that he spoke with Dana White following the announcement of the news and was told by White that Woodley will be fighting the winner of Robbie Lawler – Carlos Condit at UFC 195.

Obviously this means his next fight will be for the title, which is what he wanted.

Tyron Woodley (15-3) is currently on a two-fight winning streak. In his last five bouts, he’s 4-1. He beat Josh Koscheck at UFC 167 by first-round knockout and then beat Carlos Condit at UFC 171 by second-round TKO. He lost to Rory MacDonald at UFC 174 by unanimous decision but then rebounded with two big wins. He beat Dong Hyun Kim at UFC Fight Night 48 by first-round TKO and then Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 183 by split decision.

UFC 195 takes place on January 2, 2016, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

One would assume that the fight between Woodley and the winner of that title fight would take place a few months after that.
