It’s been a long time coming, and the wait may finally be over for Cyborg vs Rousey fans the world-over. After back-and-forth slanging matches spanning years, threats of lawsuits, talks of hiding and steroid abuse, close personal friend and former manager of Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino says the UFC offered Cyborg the fight with Ronda Rousey, and the Brazilian has accepted the challenge.

Check out what ‘The Huntington Beach Bad Boy’ said on Inside MMA:

“I’ve heard from Cris [Justino] actually that the fight that’s supposed to be happening at the Cowboy’s arena… they offered the fight to Cris. I know her management said yes and I’ve told her, ‘Let’s do it.’ So I guess the ball’s all in Ronda [Rousey]’s corner and Ronda wants to do it. Dana said if Cris came down to 135 they’ll make the fight happen, so let’s see if Ronda accepts the fight,” Tito said.

There’s something off about this, whether it’s the fact that Tito Ortiz is breaking this huge news, or just that it’s not someone associated with the UFC or ‘Rowdy”.

The Cowboys Stadium in Dallas has been linked to a featherweight title collision between Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor, but UFC president Dana White said a UFC women’s bantamweight championship collision in Texas would sell 2.5 million PPV (pay-per-views).

Have they finally made it happen?
