Jorge Masvidal Gets Al Iaquinta For UFC Fight Night 63

UFC Fight Night 63 just got a red hot lightweight match added, as we learn that Jorge Masvidal vs Al Iaquinta is official. “Gamebred” was originally scheduled to face Bobby Green before he fell ill, and then Benson Henderson at the event on April 4th at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia, before “Smooth” decided to skip the weight class and face Brandon Thatch.

There was then talk of a pairing with lightweight fight machine Donald Cerrone, but it turns out that “Raging” is just as interesting a fight, and perhaps more in line with the rankings. Iaquinta last fought at UFC 183 this past weekend (Saturday January 31st, 2015) with a milestone win over Joe Lauzon.
