Chris “Super” Weidman Saves The Day
UFC middleweight champion shows no mercy in the cage, but outside? He is a regular hero….
“”The All American” Chris Weidman has been pretty busy recently; beating the former dominant champ Anderson Silva twice in 2013, then taking out former 205-pound champion Lyoto Machida at UFC 175. The champ now faces a 2015 bout with hungry contender Vitor Belfort, so he probably has enough on his plate to think about.
Weidman has once again shown he is a man of many talents, having saved his 92-year old neighbour from bleeding to death. The following was posted by his wife to Instagram:
“Shout out to this man @chrisweidmanufc who just saved our 92 year old neighbor’s life. She fell onto a glass table and had pieces stuck in her head. She was in her driveway bleeding out in the rain trying to call her daughter on the phone. Chris ran over and brought her inside, cleaned her up and called 911. #myhero”
Publicity stunt? Just kidding, great work by the middleweight champion, and it will likely win him a few more followers. Perhaps this was some sort of training specific to Vitor Belfort? You know, grabbing an old aged pensioner covered in their own blood and dragging them about the place?
We’ll see if all that training pays off when Weidman and “The Phenom” finally fight…..for the mean time, enjoy this
