Chris Leben Arrested In San Diego On Multiple Charges
Former UFC middleweight and TUF (The Ultimate Fighter) season one veteran Chris Leben is once again on the wrong side of the law. ”The Crippler’ retired from active mixed martial arts in 2014 after a brutal career spanning 12 years, finally deciding enough was enough following four straight losses and a paticularly harsh TKO finish at the hands of Uriah Hall. Leben’s last victory was a knockout win over Wanderlei Silva at UFC 132.
No stranger to run-ins with the authorities, ‘The Crippler’ had been arrested on multiple DUI (driving under the influence) charges between 2005-10, and it looks like the 35 year old is sadly at it again. As per Bleacher Report lead writer Jeremy Botter on Twitter:

At this stage it’s unknown as to whether Leben has posted bail yet, but it’s likely he’ll probably be looking at some jail time for the litany of charges being put in front of him. His court date, as pictured, is set for the August 3rd 2015, and the Portland, Oregon native does not appear to have a projected release date yet. Leben left the sport of MMA stating he had no money, or insurance to cover the injuries he’d picked up while under the Zuffa banner.
