The main event for UFC 190 certainly didn’t lack intensity and hype heading into the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey (12-0) put her title on the line against Bethe Correia (9-1) on Aug. 1, 2015.

From suicide remarks, to an apology, to the challenger being “disingenuous,” “Rowdy” and “Pitbull” had some beef to settle.

By the end of the night, it was Rousey who kept her undefeated record and title intact. And she only needed 34 seconds to do it.

They traded punches immediately with Rousey landing uppercuts in the clinch. Rousey kneed Correia in the body. “Rowdy” put together a combination of strikes to the body and head. Rousey then leveled Correia with a right hand to the temple and that’s all she wrote.
