Following his win over Vitor Belfort at UFC 187 back in may, UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman is slated to fight Luke Rockhold sometime later this year, but in the case of victory, Weidman is already looking for his next challenger after Rockhold. He might have found one in former TUF contestant/long-time UFC fighter, Michael Bisping.

It’s no secret that Bisping wants a title fight, he’s been wanting one for years. However, the stars have not aligned for him for that to happen. Now, that he’s on a two-fight winning streak and he believes he should get one.

“It’s about time I got my g*d*mn f*cking title shot,” Bisping said at the UFC Fight Night 72 post-fight presser.

However, the champ (Weidman) doesn’t see Bisping on that level as a top-tier challengers when you have the likes of Luke Rockhold, Yoel Romero and Ronaldo Souza

“I’ve got a couple tough guys, for sure,” Weidman said Tuesday during a fan Q&A.Luke Rockhold‘s a tough guy. Jacare’s [Ronaldo Souza] a tough guy. Yoel Romero’s a scary guy. Scary looking guy. Bisping is a joke.”

When a fan on Twitter stated that Weidman would destroy Bisping, Weidman agreed.

To Bisping’s credit, is 4-2 in his last six fights, he is currently on a two fight winning streak.

Later, Weidman continued to claim that Bisping would not put his title in jeopardy should they fight in the Octagon.

“I would love for him to fight for the title because I’d literally beat him sleepwalking,” Weidman laughed when speaking with MMA Fighting.com. “I think I could beat him while I’m sleepwalking. He has no punching power so I can literally fall asleep while he’s punching me, just get a hold of him and throw him on the floor. If he doesn’t get knocked out when he falls on the floor I’ll just submit him.
