Any list of the best MMA Filipino MMA fighters wouldn’t be complete without “The Truth” Brandon Vera.  The former Filipino champion had an insane journey during his fighting career.

Vera made a big splash in the UFC, where he started gaining a fan base for his ability to finish fights. Unfortunately, Brandon had some growing pains in the UFC and never won the title.

However, Brandon found a new home in ONE Championship, where he became a superstar in the Philippines. Brandon won the promotion’s inaugural heavyweight championship and became the face of ONE.

Eduard Folayang

Easily one of the best Filipino MMA fighters is former 2x ONE champion Eduard Folayang. “The Landslide” made his country proud and helped put Filipino MMA on the map.

Folayang initially shocked the world by beating MMA legend Shinya Aoki for the ONE lightweight title. He was then able to come back and shock the world again by winning the title by beating Amir Khan.

Mark Munoz

Former UFC middleweight contender Mark Munoz is another one of the best Filipino MMA fighters. “The Filipino Wrecking Machine” was known for being a standout wrestler with immense power. 

During the late 2000s and early 2010s, Munoz was always in the hunt for a title shot. He holds wins over everyone from Chris Leben, Demian Maia, Tim Boetsch, and C.B. Dolloway.

Kevin Belingon

Kevin Belingon made history by becoming the first Filipino fighter to win a world championship at bantamweight. The Ifugao native became an instant star in his home country by defeating Martin Nguyen to become champion.

Belingon then solidified that he was a true champion by unifying the title by beating MMA legend Bibiano Fernandes. These wins helped mark Kevin’s place as one of the best Filipino MMA fighters ever.

Stephen Loman

Stephen Loman is a young Filipino fighter who is currently on the rise. Before earning his way into ONE Championship, Loman made his name in the promotion Brave CF.

Stephen was the reigning Brave CF bantamweight champion, who defended his title four times before signing with ONE. In his current run in ONE, Loman is 3-1 and holds a win over former champion Bibiano Fernandes.
