UFC 193: The Thrill & The Agony
We are now almost a week removed from UFC 193, which went down last Saturday (November 14, 2015) live on pay-per-view (PPV) from Australia, and it’s safe to say that it will go down as one of the most historic and shocking nights in mixed martial arts (MMA) history.
In the main event, 19-time boxing world champion Holly “The Preacher’s Daughter” Holm stunned the entire MMA community by knocking out and dethroning former dominant women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey.
Holm seemed to come in with the perfect game plan, and even as a massive underdog she was able to pick Rousey apart before landing a brutal head kick in the second round to end the bout.
