UFC Fight Night 67 Weigh-In Results: Condit vs. Alves Is Official
UFC Fight Night 67 goes down tomorrow (Saturday May 30th, 2015) in Goiania, Brazil, meaning it must be weigh-ins day here at LowKickMMA! Veteran UFC welterweights headline the card, as former interim champion Carlos Condit is set to make his injury comeback against one-time title challenger Thiago Alves. ”The Pitbull’ will look to put the dampers on ‘The Natural Born Killer’s’ return, as Condit will hope to rebound from the TKO (injury) loss to Tyron Woodley that’s seen him shelved since UFC 171 last March.
Over to the co-main event for the Brazilian card, and featherweights Nik Lentz and Charles Oliveira will look to settle their unfinished business. The two met at UFC Live: Kongo vs Barry in 2011, where ‘Do Bronx’ ended the fight with knees to the head of a grounded opponent, subsequently causing a no-contest to be ruled.
Strikeforce veteran striker KJ Noons will meet home town staple Alex Oliveira in a lightweight affair, Ryan Jimmo will square off with Francimar Barroso, Wendell Oliveira faces Darren Till and Francisco Trinaldo meets the surging Irishman Norman Parke. The prelims feature bout is a flyweight burner between Jussier Formiga and Wilson Reis.
